Marion Jones was a phenomenal performer in the 200 sprint. In the 200 Olympics in Australia she won the the gold medal for her event. She was excited and ecstatic all as once. In her perfect performance she had a small crack in her victory. She cheated. Jones used performance-enhancing drugs to better her performance. She went from hero to zero in a matter of years. As being an athlete, you expect all to play fair, but she was not being a honest person. She had lied to federal officials about her performance-enhancers and had her medals taken from her along with jail time. Not only does this reflect badly as her character, but it also reflects badly on the country. To represent something grander than you and to give it a bad name is shameful to the person and the face of the country. but as all people are faulted, she wasn't the first to commit such a crime and she wont be the last.
