Student Success Statement

"I think it better it do right, even if we suffer in doing, than to incur the reproach of our conscience and posterity."
Robert E. Lee

In the case of Robert E. Lee standing in the side of the confederates, he stood for what he believed in. Many other white Southerners followed him as he lead them onto the battlefield. He believed that he was doing what is right, and in turn he would not feel any regret or guilt for his actions. Although there may be pain and suffrage, he confessed that it will all be worth while.
There are several examples of this may be in sports as you train. There will be day in which you dare not show to practice because of a temporal pain. But in order to be on track for what you want the suffering and executing the drills will keep you in high spirits that your progress is not to waste.
